AXE I/O Solo is a compact and affordable audio interface that offers advanced guitar tone shaping features, bringing best-in-class guitar recording capabilities to musicians everywhere. Building upon the success of IK Multimedia's award-winning AXE I/O interface, AXE I/O Solo delivers the same great tone shaping, convenient features, and premium sound quality in a compact 2-in / 3-out format.

One of the standout features of AXE I/O Solo is its triple-topology instrument input, designed to preserve the unique character of your guitar. This input allows you to capture the true essence of your instrument, ensuring that its tone is faithfully reproduced in your recordings. Additionally, AXE I/O Solo provides powerful tone-shaping features that adapt to any guitar or bass, allowing you to coax a wider range of sounds from your instrument.

The interface incorporates IK's patent-pending Z-TONE® circuit, which enables you to adjust the impedance from 1 MOhm ("sharp") down to 2.2 kOhms ("bold"). This impedance control interacts with your guitar's pickups, allowing you to tailor the sound to your preference. By increasing the impedance, you can achieve a tighter, sharper, and more precise sound, while decreasing the impedance produces a thicker and bolder tone. With these controls, you can easily add sonic character to your guitars and find a sound that fits perfectly in the mix.

AXE I/O Solo also features a high-definition, Class A mic preamp called PURE, which ensures transparent and clean recordings. Its extended, flat frequency response captures the full tonal range of your voice or instrument without adding any coloration to the sound. The interface's best-in-class dynamic range guarantees ultra-quiet recordings, allowing you to capture every nuance with exceptional clarity.

Furthermore, AXE I/O Solo includes a dedicated Amp Out, which enables you to create perfect Tone Models of your amps and pedals using the TONEX software for Mac/PC. This means you can process your recorded tracks using real guitar amps and stompboxes without the need for additional accessories or having to unplug your gear. The Amp Out output also eliminates ground loops during amplification and Tone Modeling, ensuring a quiet signal for your high-gain amps.

To enhance your tone modeling capabilities, AXE I/O Solo comes bundled with TONEX SE, which allows you to model the sound of any amp, cabinet, combo, or pedal and turn it into a plug-in. This plug-in can be used on both Mac/PC and iPhone and iPad platforms, providing a versatile and mobile guitar recording experience. You can explore ToneNET and access thousands of sought-after amp models directly from your mobile device.

AXE I/O Solo is the perfect solution for guitarists who want a compact and feature-rich audio interface with advanced guitar tone shaping capabilities. It offers high-quality recording, versatile tone control, and seamless integration with your favorite gear and software, making it an excellent choice for guitar recording enthusiasts and professionals alike.
