Conduct professional interviews with the MXL FR-355K Dual Lavalier Microphone Kit. The two included mics feature FET pre-amps to ensure outstanding audio quality under the most demanding conditions: indoors, outdoors, it doesn’t matter. Both microphones are supplied with foam windscreens and clips. The FR-351 cardoid mic has a 8mm capsule, while the FR-350 omni mic has a 6mm capsule.
The MXL FR-355K Lavalier Kit is a pair of lavalier microphones, one with a cardioid and one with an omnidirectional polar pattern. It is intended to provide the user with options for interviews, instrument capturing, presentations and other applications.
The cardioid pattern microphone yields a generous pickup area while maintaining adequate feedback and noise rejection at the off-axis section of the capsule. The omnidirectional polar pattern microphone provides a uniform frequency response at the direct and off-axis sections of the capsule, and is noted to reject clothing, contact and handling noise more efficiently.
The lavalier pair of mics both require phantom power, feature XLR output connectors and include a windscreen and clothing clip. The modestly priced kit is an ideal solution for in studio interviews, instrument capturing and more.
The mics require 48v phantom power to operate.
